Did you know that
where you stand in the shot can change how you look? It's all about the way lenses distort your natural shape. Smaller lenses like the ones on phone cameras can be especially bad for this! The closer you are to the lens, the greater the distortion - so if you stand right in the middle of the shot, your figure won't appear in its most flattering light. Stand on one side, and you'll reduce this effect - as well
as making more room to see
